HOUSTON—HPD Homicide detectives were looking for clues Thursday morning after finding a dead body on a sidewalk at the Canfield Lakes apartments.

The complex is located at Northborough and Rushcreek.

Police were called to the scene on a shooting report around 3:45 a.m.

When they arrived, they found a man lying on the sidewalk.  Police said he appeared to have suffered multiple gunshot wounds.

Detectives said there were no suspects or witnesses in the shooting.

Family members told police the victim lived in the complex.
