HOUSTON -- A victim was dead and a second hospitalized after an early-morning shooting at a Houston-area night club.

It happened at the Eclipse Night Club on FM 1960 in north Harris County around 5:45 a.m. Thursday.

Officials with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office said one of the shooting victims was confirmed dead at the scene.

The second was taken via ground ambulance to the hospital.

The condition of the second victim was unknown.
