HOUSTON -- A two-story Houston come was completely destroyed in a fire late Wednesday night.
HFD crews were called to the scene at Ferguson and Carver around 10 p.m.
When they arrived, they found the home fully engulfed in flames.
Firefighters were forced to go into defensive mode, because the structure was unsafe and about to collapse.
After they got the fire under control, firefighters searched the home.
They found no one inside.
Arson is investigating the cause of the blaze.
No firefighters were injured.
