HOUSTON -- The body of a soldier who died supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom is now back at home with his family.

Twenty-two-year-old Specialist Joshua L. Hazlewood, of Manvel, Texas, died in Arifjan, Kuwait on June 25.

His body arrived Friday morning to Ellington Field.

He was assigned to the 614th Automated Cargo Documentation Detachment.

The Army is still investigating the circumstances surrounding the death, but Hazlewood’s family is reporting it was self-inflicted.

A funeral for the soldier will be held on Independence Day at 10 a.m. at the South Park funeral home in Pearland.
