Three-alarm blaze leaves 65 Baytown residents homeless

BAYTOWN, Texas -- A three-alarm apartment fire severely damaged units in Baytown on Friday.
Baytown Fire Department responded to the blaze at the Sunshine apartment complex around 10:30 p.m.
The apartments are located on Hemlock Drive and Baker Road.
They found heavy flames coming from the building.
Reportedly, the fire spread through the common attic and quickly became out of control.

A call went out for more fire departments to assist.
The fire engulfed 26 units in the entire building, leaving 65 residents homeless.
Several residents claimed that the apartment management is blaming the cause of the fire on a circuit breaker.
Arson is investigating.
