HOUSTON- It is going to be another roller-coaster day in Houston as we near record high temperatures just in time to usher in a cool front.

“The front will reach the northern part of our area by 3, and then it will reach downtown Houston by 5 o’clock,” said 11 News Meteorologist David Paul.
The front may bring thunderstorms and lower temperatures. Before it arrives you can expect the mercury to reach 93 and major humidity.
“We’ll have cooler weather by Friday and the weekend,” said Paul. “Saturday and Sunday we’ll see sunshine. It will be cool too. The highs will be in the mid 70s and the lows will be in the mid 40s to high 50s.”
