DALLAS - A 23-year-old woman apparently left her three young children in her car while she threw back a few drinks with friends at a bar, authorities said.

Asia Thomas was arrested and is in the Dallas County Jail on three charges of child endangerment. Police said she left her kids, three children ranging in age from a few months old to four years old, in her car while she was drinking Tuesday night at the Lakewood Landing bar in the 5800 block of Live Oak Street, near Skillman Street and Gaston Avenue.

Someone saw the kids after 10 p.m. in a vehicle in the parking lot of the bar and called police. The kids are thought to have been in the vehicle for more than 45 minutes. They were reportedly uninjured.

Police who responded said Thomas appeared to be intoxicated. Bail for Thomas was set at $7,500, according to jail records.
